Tuesday, March  15 - Our first day of CSAP's went very well.  For the most part all of your children are doing their very best, trying hard and even checking their work!

You can support them by making sure they are getting a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast!

We will still have a small amount of homework each day. 

Today's homework is:  Science - Static electricty, making a circuit worksheets

Sayings and Phrases:  Live and let live activity

We also are in need of 60 juice boxes for 3 days of CSAP.  The kids look forward to a small snack before the math CSAP in the afternoon.  If you are able please send in juice box drinks (3 days @ 20 juice boxes).  Also we need 5 days of healthy snacks (20 per day).  If you are unable to do this, please have your child bring a healthy snack such as gogurt, cheese sticks, granola bars (not filled with chocolate!), raisins or nuts, crackers and cheese or crackers and peanutbutter, a small bag of fruit for themselves.

We are in need of paper.  We are asking each family to send in 1 ream of copy paper.  Thanks for helping with this!

Don't forget our field trip is this Friday to the State Capital.  If you are a chaperone, I am counting on you!  Chaperones may ride the bus we will have room.  Also have your child bring a disposable, healthy sack lunch with a drink.  We will throw out all containers.  Please no sodas; gatoraide, juice and other healthy drinks are preferred.  We will leave school around 8:45 am and return around 2 pm.  Students need to wear their nicest uniforms and bring a jacket.

Have a super day, and ask your child what they are learning each day in our electricity unit!
